Our Core Beliefs
A clear foundation for how we live, love, and lead people toward Jesus.
1. The Holy Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s voice to us—alive, trustworthy, and powerful. It is our final authority in all matters of faith, life, and conduct. We believe Scripture is inspired by God, infallible in truth, and inerrant in its original writings. Through His Word, God reveals His heart, His will, and His direction for our daily lives.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105
2. The Trinity
We believe in one God who has always existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three in perfect unity; one in perfect love. He invites us into that relationship through Jesus.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Deuteronomy 6:4
3. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the centerpiece of the Gospel—fully God, fully man, and the only One who can rescue us. Born of a virgin, sinless in life, compassionate in heart, victorious in resurrection. And He is coming again.
Scripture: John 1:1–14; Luke 1:31–35; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:11
4. Salvation
We believe salvation is God’s greatest gift. We don’t earn it, deserve it, or work for it. We simply receive it by trusting in Jesus’ finished work on the cross and His resurrection power. When we believe, God makes us new from the inside out.
Scripture: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5; John 14:6
5. The Blood of Jesus
We believe the blood of Jesus changes everything. His sacrifice paid our debt, removed our shame, and opened the way for us to live forgiven, clean, and free.
Scripture: Hebrews 9:22; 1 John 1:7; Revelation 1:5; Romans 5:9
6. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s empowering presence with us and within us. He draws people to Christ, transforms our character, equips us with gifts, and guides us into everyday obedience and victory.
Scripture: John 16:7–13; Acts 1:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11
7. Sanctification
We believe sanctification is both a moment and a journey. The moment we say yes to Jesus, He sets us apart as His own. The journey is the daily work of the Holy Spirit shaping us to look, love, and live more like Jesus.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 10:10,14; Romans 12:1–2; Galatians 5:16–25
8. Healing
We believe Jesus still heals today—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Healing is part of His heart and part of His finished work, and we boldly pray, believing God is faithful and compassionate toward His people.
Scripture: Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; James 5:14–16; 1 Peter 2:24
9. Baptism in the Holy Spirit
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is the Promise of the Father—a gift Jesus told His followers to wait for and expect. This overflowing experience comes after salvation and fills believers with boldness, spiritual power, and a deeper sensitivity to God’s presence. We believe speaking in tongues is the initial physical sign of this Spirit-empowered life.
Scripture: Acts 1:4–5, 8; Acts 2:1–4; Acts 10:44–46; Acts 19:6
10. Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit still distributes His gifts to the Church today—wisdom, prophecy, healing, discernment, tongues, and many others. These gifts are not for show; they are for service. They build up the Church, reveal Jesus, and minister God’s love to people.
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, 27–31; Romans 12:6–8; Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Corinthians 14:1
11. Redemption
We believe Jesus paid the ultimate price to redeem us—from sin, from the curse, and from our old way of living. In Him, we are restored, renewed, and called into a life of purpose, joy, and freedom.
Scripture: Galatians 3:13; Colossians 1:13–14; Ephesians 1:7; Titus 2:14
12. The Reality of Heaven and Hell
We believe heaven and hell are real, eternal destinations. Heaven is the promised home for all who place their faith in Jesus—a place of joy, wholeness, and God’s unbroken presence. Hell is a real place of separation from God, never His desire for anyone, but the result of rejecting His salvation. Because eternity is real, we live with urgency, compassion, and a heart to reach every person with the Gospel.
Scripture: John 14:2–3; Revelation 21:1–4; Matthew 25:31–46; 2 Thessalonians 1:8–9
